Clinical Interests and Experience
Genevieve has a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders, supporting children who are late to talk and working with receptive language delays. She also enjoys working in the areas of literacy, stuttering and speech sound development. Genevieve has training in Hanen Programs, DIR-Floortime, PECS, Lidcombe (therapy for stuttering), Key Word Sign, Cued Articulation and The Secret Agent Society program.
Background and Experience
Genevieve is an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist who has worked for The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development as well as several leading Private Practices in Melbourne. She currently works in private practice, providing services within the clinical setting, schools, kindergartens and childcare centres. Genevieve works with clients from early infancy to adolescence.
Practice Philosophies
Genevieve enjoys working with families from a range of different backgrounds and believes in working closely with each family and their support team. She is a warm, caring and fun Speech Pathologist who follows a child’s interests to help them reach their potential. Genevieve has a broad knowledge base when completing assessments and intervention with children and adolescents. She provides comprehensive assessment feedback to families, including therapy plans and ways to support each child in the home and their educational setting. Genevieve aims to make a positive difference to each child and their family.
