Clinical and practical interests
Zeta is passionate about providing expert care to children presenting with a wide range of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Zeta tends to utilise an array of psychological therapies, depending on the needs of the child. She is primarily trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, so that her treatment is collaborative and research-based. Zeta believes strongly that understanding the intricate link between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours is the key to change. In addition to traditional CBT, Zeta is adept at employing mindfulness-based therapies that are proven to effectively treat numerous childhood disorders.
Throughout her years of study and practice, Zeta has developed a special interest in anxiety and depressive difficulties, self-esteem issues, parent-child relational problems, and resilience in children. Furthermore, Zeta believes strongly in fostering positive family dynamics and promoting effective parenting strategies, all vital for the healthy development of the child.
Zeta is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the Australian Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Zeta has specialist registration with medicare.
