  • Management of common allergic conditions (including asthma and cow’s milk protein intolerance)
  • General gastrointestinal conditions (including constipation and coeliac disease)

Dr Saghi Elmi is an experienced General Paediatrician with over 20 years of clinical practice in Australia and overseas. She is a Staff Specialist in a public regional hospital in Victoria and has extensive experience working across diverse healthcare settings, including metropolitan hospitals in Sydney and large regional centres.

Dr Elmi is dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centred care, working closely with parents, general practitioners, and allied health professionals to support each child’s health, development, and overall wellbeing. She is also actively involved in teaching and mentoring junior doctors and has contributed to multiple publications in general paediatrics.

She holds an MBBS, a Specialist Degree in General Paediatrics, and a Subspecialty Fellowship in Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) from overseas , as well as Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). She has also completed a Diploma in Paediatric Health (University of Sydney) and a Diploma in Diabetes (UK). Dr Elmi is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), ANZSPED, and ASDP.

Known for her warm and approachable manner, Dr Elmi values clear communication and strives to ensure families feel supported and confident in their child’s care. She is fluent in English and Farsi.
