Botox Service Launched in Regional Victoria to Help Treat Cerebral Palsy
New botulinum toxin injection service available at Shepparton for young patients living with cerebral palsy
Children living with cerebral palsy, in the Hume Region, will benefit from access to a treatment, now offered at Goulburn Valley Health Service, Shepparton.
Paediatric Rehabilitation Specialist Dr Monika Hasnat has recently set up a botulinum toxin injection service available at Shepparton for young patients living with cerebral palsy to help manage their muscle spasticity or stiffness.
This will enable children and their families living in regional Victoria to more readily access this important aspect of their treatment which would otherwise require them to travel further afield to Melbourne.
